Manggagawang Pilipino, Saludo Ako sa Inyo

      Labor Day ( Araw ng mga Manggaggawa) is   a day wherein it is celebrated in order to commemorate all of the Filipino Worker (Manggagawang Pilipino). On the 1st of May  every year, the holiday is celebrated all throughout the country, as a day to give tribute to all the Filipino workers, as it originated back in May 1, 1903, 100,000 employees were organized by the country's first labor organization, “Union Obrera Democratica de Filipina (U.O.D.F.),” to march from Tondo's Plaza Moriones to Malacanang. 120 years later, today it is still celebrated, it is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed. Labor Day is often used as a day to defend workers' rights.      Labor Day is a significant day in the Philippines as it is a time for workers to raise awareness about the issues and challenges facing them.
