      Labor Day ( Araw ng mga Manggaggawa) is   a day wherein it is celebrated in order to commemorate all of the Filipino Worker (Manggagawang Pilipino). On the 1st of May  every year, the holiday is celebrated all throughout the country, as a day to give tribute to all the Filipino workers, as it originated back in May 1, 1903, 100,000 employees were organized by the country's first labor organization, “Union Obrera Democratica de Filipina (U.O.D.F.),” to march from Tondo's Plaza Moriones to Malacanang. 120 years later, today it is still celebrated, it is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed.           One last quarter before we enter the senior high school life. It feels like the first week of quarter 3 was yesterday. This quarter is different but differently hard than the last two quarters. A rollercoaster ride during the weeks of 3rd quarter is one of the best memories of my grade 10 life.   The High School Day is an event that is celebrated every year, on the 25th of February. It is an event to celebrate the founding of our beloved school, it is also an event to give thanks or recognize the services given by our beloved teachers. For the year 2023, Ilocos Sur National High School finally celebrated its 121st High School Day, the theme for this year’s High School Day is “Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity”. For the past 3 years the High School Day wasn’t a grand celebration, in other words it was not that big of an event due to the restrictions brought to us by the deadly virus. Due to this reason students, teachers, alumni, and parents never got to experience the different events offered by the celebration.
